Some desks have a locking system that lock all draws at once, if you have three draws then place three locks on all draws, if you need just one place it on the top draw. Most of the time the bottom draw is the largest one, you cannot place one here as you can remove the upper draw and remove the content from the bottom one this is why you need to place one on all of them, all you need is a simple push lock on the side of the draw as they are out of site.
Fire exit doors These doors have signs above them so they are visable when an emergency arrive the door itself should be one action egress meaning there should be only a single lock with a lever action. NO PADLOCKS, NO SLIDING BOLTS, the door should be clear at all times
Cars- Theft from valuables in your car are ripe for the taking, if you have valuables in your car, place them in the boot and try not to park your car in a dark place, and double check to see if you have lock the car when you leave or retire for the day.
